DeForest George Buckner, an American football defensive tackle who competes for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League, was born on March 17, 1994. (NFL).

George was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft while playing college football for the University of Oregon.

He played for the 49ers in 2019 and was chosen for the second team of the Pro Bowl. He was selected for the Colts’ first-team All-Pro team in 2020, and the following year, he made the Pro Bowl.

George attended Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, and had a four-star recruit rating there. Kaimi Fairbairn, the current kicker for the Houston Texans, was Buckner’s teammate. He committed himself to the University of Oregon in January 2012 to play college football there. Basketball was his previous sport in high school.
