Demi Moores Daughter Tallulah Willis Gets Candid About Having Suicidal Thoughts

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Tallulah Willis is getting candid about having suicidal thoughts. She opened up in an Instagram post that proved a happy persona does not necessarily mean a person is happy.

Willis shared a video of her appearing to be happy go lucky when on the inside she was having thoughts about killing herself.

“When this video was filmed I was 3 months into the deepest suicidal hole I had ever been in. We are not what we show. I’m not ready to share my story yet, but I’m with you, I see you, I am you, and I love you,” the 25-yar-old began her message.

The artist chose to share her post on World Mental Health Day. Willis was brutally honest, admitting she was not only scared of her brain but also the capacity for “pain it has and will continue to bear.” The young woman then got real about pain and her daily fight.

“Pain is pain. it’s different and enters each of our lives through a myriad of ways, but each electric stab or dull ache is real. The kind of pain that you can’t see, the pain that lives in the hallow space behind your throat. I’m scared of my brain and the capacity for pain it has and will continue to bear. My fight is daily and for the duration of my life and each day I choose to find the glowed moments, a thefted giggle, or true peaceful pause. I know I was brave that day,” she expressed.

Willis ended her note by asking her followers to remember to try and be sweet to themselves. She encouraged people to find any little bean of love for oneself. It is a lesson that is extremely challenging for people to learn, but it is also one that is necessary for a healthy mindset.

In 2015, the young woman admitted to Teen Vogue she keeps her feelings bottled up inside.

“I haven’t felt OK with who I am since I was 11 years old. Suddenly, I didn’t think I deserved what I had grown up with, and I remember thinking I couldn’t have problems, so I kept everything bottled up inside,” she told the magazine.

Tallulah Willis, opening up about having suicidal thoughts, comes weeks after her mother, Demi Moore, got real about her own issues in her memoir Inside Out.
